Reimagined Cantonese-Inspired Cocktails At DIO

DIO’s enticing new menu, “CHOU SON (灶神)” pays homage to the nostalgic flavours of old Hong Kong with a set of four newly crafted cocktails. Standouts include the SALTED LIME HIGHBALL which plays on the age-old Salted Lime 7UP and features a floral kumquat liqueur, and the LEEKGRONI which brings the humble leek to the forefront with a leek-infused gin and fresh leek garnish.

The Daily Tot Unveils The 1655 Edition

The team at Daily Tot is pleased to present The 1655 Edition, an all-new cocktail menu showcasing a fine selection of rums from various regions to celebrate the rich history of this liquid gold. Creations of note include The O.G TaiTai, a coconut-y concoction that reinvents the classic Mai Tai, and the Spicy Colada infused for 48 hours with lemongrass, bell pepper, galangal, kaffir lime, coconut milk and pineapple juice.

“Social Hour” Cocktail Menu At JW Marriott’s Bar Q88

The “Social Hour” at JW Marriott’s Bar Q88 offers an exclusive beverage menu featuring classic and inventive cocktails at $200 for two glasses, while a live band plays away in the background. If wine and beer are more your speed, take advantage of the buy-one-get-one-free offer, also available during Social Hour.

World Sake Day Festival At PMQ

Coming to PMQ’s historic courtyard, sip and savour over 300 bottles, with a total of 16 booths and over 25 breweries presenting their unique sake. Organised by Sake Central and Singular Concepts to celebrate World Sake Day, you can also expect to find dedicated food stations serving Japanese snacks to pair with your sake.

001 Reopens In Tai Kwun

It was a sad day when Hong Kong’s first-ever speakeasy-style bar announced the closure of its well-hidden den on Graham Street last year, but we’re jazzed to hear that it’s reopened with a brand-new location in Tai Kwun. The bar location remains a little vague, but that’s part of the fun! Expect a drinks programme — curated by Sky Huo, one of the original 001’s bartenders — set to change seasonally.

Negroni Week 2023 Events (18–24 September)

• Vista – Head to Vista on Monday, 18 September for an exclusive kick-off party to celebrate Negroni Week. There will be guest shifts, a Negroni competition and exclusive events at participating bars throughout the week.
• Casa Cucina – Two-hour free-flow Negronis all week long for just $228. This year, Casa Cucina introduces the VLT Negroni, made with Earl Grey-infused gin, Campari, sweet Vermouth and a homemade sour mix.
• Zuma – Zuma presents a special Negroni Week menu featuring the classic Negroni along with three unique twists on the traditional cocktail. For every Negroni sold, Zuma will donate $10 to Impact HK.
• The Daily Tot – Satisfy your sweet tooth with the White Chocolate Banana Negroni. For every Negroni sold in September, $10 will be donated in support of the World Food Programme.
