The Descendants

WOAW Gallery presents “The Descendants”, a group presentation of over 20 international artists at K11 MUSEA. Curated and organised by Melanie Lum, Micki Meng and Kevin Poon, the exhibition features oil and acrylic on canvas and runs for just one more week.

Gretchen So’s photography exhibition sheds light on the invaluable contributions and stories of the Indonesian and Filipina helpers within our community. Featuring 30 beautiful works, “Hidden Narratives” showcases remarkable resilience, vitality and joy during leisure moments — centring migrant domestic workers who’ve been in the city since the 1970s and who endure long hours, limited privacy and other challenges.

The Grand Gathering of the Century: Zodiac Heads from the Yuanmingyuan and Important Treasures

In collaboration with Singapore’s Asian Civilisations Museum, Indra and Harry Banga Gallery is presenting the second part of its “The Grand Gathering of the Century: Zodiac Heads from the Yuanmingyuan and Important Treasures” exhibition, with a complete set of 12 faithfully replicated zodiac head sculptures from the Yuanmingyuan — the Old Summer Palace.

Presented by PhotogStory, the “Hong Kong Stories” group exhibition showcases a collection of old images along with more than 50 old photo books by multiple local and international photographers. Features the late photographers Yau Leung and Ngan Chun Tung and their photos from the 1960s to 1970s and French New Wave set photographer Raymond Cauchetier and daily scenes from 1954.

Madame Song: Pioneering Art and Fashion in China

M+ presents the first-ever museum exhibition dedicated to the legendary Song Huai-Kuei, widely known during her lifetime as Madame Song, who shaped the landscape of art, fashion, and popular culture in China from the 1980s to the 2000s. View over 320 exhibited items including rare archival materials, garments from prominent fashion designers, movie costumes and footage, artworks, and large-scale tapestry installations.
